Walthamstow's Creative Business Community Hive Collective in collaboration with Yonder Workspace, will celebrate and shine a light on East London's vibrant manufacturing and making industry.

The event will feature two passionate and expert speakers - Professor Mark Brearley, who has spent a decade cataloguing London manufacturers who will discuss the industry's current landscape and future prospects. And Harriet Warden, Director of Blackhorse Workshop, who will be speaking about the importance of the workshop in Walthamstow and preserving essential skills.

Additionally, talented local makers will demonstrate their unique processes and tools, offering attendees insight into their craftsmanship.

This event will showcase photographs of local makers, taken by Carmel King from 'Made In London', a book Mark and Carmel collaborated on together.

Come along, have some drinks and network whilst celebrating local manufacturing and making, ensuring these remain a vital part of London's economic and cultural fabric.
